SoNoMa by SingleThread
The first international expression of the three-Michelin-starred SingleThread, SoNoMa features a 12-seat counter and 20-seat lounge bar, reimagining a machiya teahouse. Led by Chef Keita Tominaga, it blends Kyoto and Kansai heritage with Northern California ingredients, offering a reflective dining experience shaped by seasonality, craftsmanship, and place.

SEASONAL EXPRESSIONS
At SoNoMa by SingleThread, each dish reflects the experiences of Kyle and Katina Connaughton, shaped by their time in Japan and their deep connections with Kyoto’s artisans and producers.
Working closely with farmers across Kyoto and Kansai, the menu brings together heirloom Kyoto vegetables and seasonal flowers with ingredients from Northern California, celebrating the agricultural heritage of both regions.

BEHIND SONOMA'S CRAFTSMANSHIP
Leading the restaurant is Chef Keita Tominaga, originally from Sonoma, California. He honed his craft under Chef Ryohei Hayashi at Tenoshima during its Michelin-starred period, before further developing his experience at SingleThread in Sonoma.
Embodying the spirit of SingleThread, Chef Tominaga creates cuisine that celebrates the beauty of Japanese cooking and the character of local ingredients.

SINGLETHREAD ENTREMETS
Developed by Michelin three-star restaurant SingleThread, SingleThread Entremets is a refined pastry collection inspired by the land and the changing seasons.
Created by Executive Pastry Chef Emma Horowitz and SoNoMa by SingleThread Pastry Chef Miu Morita, each entremet reflects SingleThread’s philosophy through a poetic expression of pastry. Presented among seasonal flowers, botanicals and moss, the display becomes a living garden that evolves throughout the year.
“SingleThread Entremets expresses our dialogue with the seasons, the land and the people connected to it through a new language — pastry.”
— Kyle Connaughton, Owner & Chef, SingleThread
